Install Kubuntu KDE from within Ubuntu Gnome is the obvious choice for those wanting a rock-stable linux desktop, but KDE4 is a great example of just how good a linux desktop can look. A great game and I agree with this review, but having finished it I can’t help but feel it has been artificially lengthened. It gives you that feeling of “I need to do this AGAIN???”

Some say it’s ugly, but I kinda like it and may have to pick one up for the lounge, taking the 1st gen one into the other room for linux-related tomfoolery!

Batman Arkham Asylum may be a multi-format title, but like Mirrors Edge, the developers have sought to offer PC gamers with some added value to soften the blow of paying full price for rentware. This video lovingly crafted by a youtuber shows what they have added over and above the standard PS3 and 360 fare. It’s quite a long game so 360 users may wish to get a spare console in just in case the inevitable happens.
